AS9100 is an aerospace standard, based on ISO9001.
Both AS9100 and ISO9001 are Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Its designed for aerospace.
I have previously worked with As9100.
Updating the Quality Manual from revision B, to rev C.
In order to update the Quality Manual, a full process review is carried out.
I carried out the work for a local laser engineering services business.
The first step was to read the existing quality manual.
The next stage was to arrange interviews with each department to review processes.
Processes include work tasks.
The latest process details, were compared with the existing ones, in the manual.
Updates were made to the manual, as needed.
Updates included both written text and flow diagrams.
